Buckingham palace cable management solution

The architect was adamant:"no floor boxes".

But the Senior Property Officer (Mechanical & Electrical) employed by the Royal Household Property Section had to provide services to the hall being refurbished in Buckingham Palace. When given a sample of the Cableduct 700 series floor box it was approved for installation.

The floor box was supplied in polished brass with a brass carpet trim, with a recess to suit the 20mm thick carpet being used and has subsequently been used more widely in this, and other royal residences.
