This barely-visible floor box is recessed into the floor tiles of a prestigious brand at Heathrow Airport T5.
A bespoke solution was required for a unique purpose to suit the requirement of the World Duty Free concessions at airports. The floor boxes needed to be very shallow and the lids were not required when in use as they often were sited under display cabinets. When not in use, corner blocks were used to allow lid to be screwed shut to the galvanised frame inside the floor box.
