Antique Brass

Brass floor boxes are chosen for projects where aesthetics matter as much as functionality. With polished or brushed brass lids, they provide a traditional, high-end finish ideal for use in listed buildings, heritage restorations, hotels, boardrooms, and luxury retail environments.

The brass lid is typically paired with a galvanised steel box body and is available in multiple compartment formats. Recessed options are also available, allowing for partial floor finish integration while retaining the decorative brass edging.

As with all Cableduct floor boxes, brass units support power, data and AV outlets, and may include cable flaps for in-use access. The durable, corrosion-resistant finish offers long-lasting performance while complementing classic interior design schemes.

How do I decide which floor box to install?

How big should my floor box be for my plug sockets and data points?

This depends on the number of power plug sockets and data/ AV points you want. These are mounted in metal outlet plates within the floor box and these decide what size and shape of floor box you can have. See also Downloads/Floor box chooser.

What finishes can you do?

Standard finishes are stainless steel and satin brass but we also do beautiful bespoke finishes such as antique brass, antique bronze and jordan bronze to match your interior décor and other accessories. See also Finishes section in Product solutions

Can we have bespoke shapes and sizes like parallelograms and match parquet timber flooring?

Yes. Cableduct specialises in making floor boxes in special shapes and sizes, including round floor boxes, to suit our customers’ projects. See bespoke solutions in Product solutions.

How much underfloor space do you need for your floor boxes?

Our base boxes can be 55mm, 65mm, 85mm or 120mm deep. 85mm and 120mm are more flexible and give most plug top and wiring space. 55mm and 65mm are shallow boxes and have limited plug top and wiring space. See also Downloads/Floor box chooser
