Bridges the gap in Cableduct’s round floor box range between the small 127mm diameter floor box (’cleaner’s grommet’) and the 2-compartment 193mm diameter floor box.

Flexible outlet plate configurations mean it can be small enough to accommodate 1 single socket or large enough to accommodate a twin socket or a single socket and data points as well.

With the advent of ever larger moulded plugs and ever longer plug flexes, the traditional 127mm diameter “cleaner's grommet” was struggling to cope as it was becoming more and more challenging to fit them into such a small floor box and then subsequently use the cleaner's grommet easily, or so our customers have told us.

Armed with this feedback, Cableduct designed a new 169mm diameter round floor box that is compact enough to remain discreet yet large enough to manage today’s larger plugs and provide additional power and/or data points.

You can choose to have it as either a Minima or 700 Series floor box and with whatever finish complements your interior design the best – standard finishes include satin brass and stainless steel; special finishes include antique bronze, jordan bronze, antique brass, powder coated, mirror-polished.

At more than 10% smaller than the 193mm diameter round floor box, the new 169mm diameter size keeps it discreet while maximising its functionality and capacity for contractors, architects and designers alike.

As “new-size cleaner's grommet” or high-capacity double socket round floor box, it is now even easier to install and then use, while still blending in well with your interior design.

Timing of installation is flexible too in order to match your project timescales - the standard assembly can be installed before the floor covering is fitted and the retrofit assembly afterwards.

Lid Recess Depth
