Project background
This was part of the continued development of the prestigious Bulgari resort and residences on Jumeirah Bay island.
Challenges
It required particular attention to detail on the design as the discerning client was looking for the most discreet floor box available so as to be “almost invisible” when their beautiful floor finish was fitted into the lid.
Additional design requirements called for a completely unbranded, fully-flush floor box with lids, frames and flaps & handles finished in the same finish as the other accessories.
Solution
For Cableduct, the solution became clear very quickly. Our contemporary unbranded Minima range has a patented spring-closed outlet flap & handle, a recessed lid for the final floor finish and the least visible metal of any floor box, which means it can be fully-flush and “almost invisible”.
Result
The result is stunning, discreet floor boxes that provide power with USB accessories and AV option.
