The Morgan Motor Company had built a new customer experience centre to showcase their hand-crafted and boldly-designed cars. Every detail in the building reflected what was important to them and their customers; their history, creativity, and innovation. The showroom space was intended to be multi-use, both to showcase cars and host events.
The showroom needed flexibility both to locate cars anywhere in the room and to host events which needed power and lighting across the floor. Access to power sockets was therefore required in the middle of the showroom but this had to be subtle as the floor finish was central to the internal décor when used for cars. The weight of cars also meant that the floor boxes needed to be reinforced.
Cableduct’s hand-finished, innovative and beautiful floor boxes were an excellent fit with Morgan Motors. We provided discreet access to power sockets using our classic-design stainless steel 700 series floor boxes with trim flange. Extra strength lids were also fitted to the floor boxes to handle the weight of the cars and provide maximum longevity.
The showroom and all its elements showcase the perfect blend of British-made engineering innovation and bold design. Our floor boxes provide a subtle, innovative and robust solution that allows both cars and events to seamlessly occupy the same multi-use space.
