We flex our processes to help keep your project on track, for instance, by supplying our floor box in two stages, for first-fix and then second-fix. We remain agile by holding extensive stock of the standard parts to ensure we can respond quickly to customer orders, no matter how bespoke the product you order.

Cableduct is a family-owned business that has been manufacturing in the UK for over 50 years. Cableduct products are designed, manufactured and hand-finished in the UK to outstanding quality standards and tailor-made to our customers’ exact requirements

We invest heavily in the latest manufacturing technologies to enable us to manufacture to the best quality time and time again and to keep improving efficiencies and our lead-times. We are always trying to improve.

Innovation is a major driver for us all at Cableduct, where we utilise the latest technologies and work in partnership with specialists to design and create innovative solutions to resolve your project’s challenges. We use patents to protect the unique capabilities of our Minima and 2000 floor boxes. Through hand-finishing, we then achieve the right balance between engineering excellence and beautiful aesthetics.

We collaborate actively with specialists and our customers. We were awarded the London Knowledge Transfer Award for Collaborative Innovation Excellence, for the design of our 2000 series floor box after conducting over 50 interviews with key floor box specifiers.

Cableduct products are manufactured in compliance with the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 and are load-test certified. Before dispatch, each floor box undergoes meticulous quality inspection to ensure it meets our rigorous standards and complies with relevant regulations.

We are committed to sustainable development and reducing the impact on the environment from our operations.

Our products are made of steel and brass, giving them a very high recyclable content, which means they can improve a building’s environmental performance rating. We recycle all metal scrap and source packaging that meets the regulatory requirement for at least 30% recyclable content.

We invest proactively to improve our facility’s environmental performance through a multitude of projects. Latest investments include: LED lighting throughout factory, new insulated roller shutter on warehouse, insulated fire door in office, water-saving taps and sensor-triggered lighting in all welfare facilities.
