The Minima has a sprung closed solid cast outlet flap and handle in brass or stainless steel to match the lid.
One and two compartment boxes have a single outlet flap. Three and four compartment boxes have two outlet flaps to allow for extra cables.

CAVITY FLOOR INSTALLATION

Cut a hole in the sub-floor 10mm larger than the box stated frame size. For example, an SBOX-738 is frame size 320x250mm and should have a 330x260mm cut out.
Attach conduit connections as required
Put the galvanised outer box into the cut out. Secure using screws through the top flange.

SCREED INSTALLATION

Locate floor Boxes as required ideally on a flat ribbon of screed
For trunking installation, attach clamp plate if not already supplied and fit trunking bodies in between, cut to length as required
Install wires
For trunking install put on lids and secure top clamps
Lay screed to top of base, covering the box to prevent ingress

The height adjustable inner frame is the same size as the top frame. It provides vertical adjustment for perfect on site levelling. The outlet plates mount on to this frame.

As standard, the 65mm and 85mm deep boxes have 28.5mm of space between the plate and the lid for plug tops.

As standard, the 120mm deep boxes have 68.5mm of space giving additional space if audio visual plugs or transformers are to be used.

Any size can be made to order.

As standard

For a rectangular or square box the base box is 10mm larger than the top frame. The base is mounted on the sub-floor, and the final floor covering conceals the metal flange. The inner frame adjusts both up and down to give perfect levelling with the surrounding floor.

Optional retro style base

If the finished floor is already laid, the retro style box allows a hole to be made to exactly fit the top frame. The base must be site fixed. Only upward adjustment is possible.
